Pregnant before ovulation date?!

Question: I had my period beginning on 9th Feb. According to online ovulation calculators, my 'fertile period' is 19th-25th feb with ovulation occuring on the 23rd. I had sex on the 17th,18th,19th and 20th. Could I be pregnant? What are the chances?

BTW, i'm not a teenager, and I am trying to get pregnant with my husband.

If you had sex on the 20th, and you ovulate on the 23rd, there is a chance you can get pregnant. Sperm live for a few days inside you, but the exact amount of time varies. Your vaginal fluids are somewhat acidic, this is to "weed out" and kill the weaker sperm. If you have a somewhat more acidic vagina, and your husband has a low sperm count, it might be hard to get pregnant that day.
I tried for about 6 months and finally just started having sex every day, I figured it covered all the bases (no pun intended, haha)... Finally I'm about 7 weeks along.

Hi, I think it would depend on what you are doing with the ovulation calculators, are you charting your temp, saliva testing, using ov tests?
If you are just relying on one of the charts that says you will ovulate about 14 days before your next period (true for some women) then yes there is a chance that you're pregnant because not all women ovulate at that time. When I charted I found out that I sometimes ovulated a lot earlier than that and if you are the same then yes you could be pregnant.
Also, sperm has this tricky habit of being able to survive in the vagina for about 2 days, that would take you right through until the 22nd, and you could easily have o'd then.....
I guess you would have to leave it about a week before you started testing though...
Good luck.

you can get pregnant anytime, wen god saids its time to have a little one,,,, your going to get one, good-luck,

It is possible; the online calculators aren't going to tell the whole story, because your cycle can vary from month to month. If I remember right, ovulation will be about fourteen days before your next period, but there aren't any guarantees about when it will occur in relation to the previous one! (I think you can get more information on when you're actually ovulating by monitoring your body temperature and cervical mucus.) If you're normally very regular, the calculators will be more reliable.

So... it's a maybe. I'm sure you know that even if you have sex when ovulating, there aren't any guarantees. If your husband is available, I suppose you could try again the next few nights?
