When it comes down to it, when your in labor you wont care. you will just want the baby out. Take the pain meds, Epidural, and you will be fine. I promise..

Yes - and I never took the risk. But I believe when you really really want something you can overcome anything - even the pain.

I have had three children and expecting one more. HECK YEAH I am scared of childbirth !!!! It hurts like nothing else ever could!!! But then again, I went "natural" with no pain meds.... my advice..... take everything and anything they will give you !!!

I was petrified but I ended up having a caesarian due to complications. I was so relieved I didn't have to go through normal delivery.
But to be realistic, millions of women go through childbirth with no lasting effect. There's also a lot of pain killers administered so you don't have to suffer too much.

I was scared but it wasn't as bad as I expected. I took an epidural so my pain wasn't there. I ripped just a little and got stitches, but I was very sore down there for a couple of weeks. I had to get a little help getting up and down. But having your child will make you forget about that pain
oh yes. you're not the only one. i won't mind having kids when i grow up, just scared of childbirth = /
I think most first time moms think of those kind of things, I know I did! But you can always let your doc know you would rather be cut then for them to let you rip. IMO its better to be cut than rip.
Also take to your doc aboutthe different kinda of pain control that will be avail to you.
These are things that will be on your mind untill the birth.
It is a scary things to face but in the end you will have that amazing baby and all will be well with the world.

YES!!!! i'm afraid of the pain and also, i don't want to be stuck with extra weight. i'm finally at my all time lowest weight and i can't imagine gaining weight and once you're older, its harder to loose it.
but i still would like to have children in the future.
Not as much as I used to be. I had surgery on Tuesday and the nurses said that I took everything really well. I have a hugh pain threshold, I think I will be fine.
No...but I'm never having children, due to choice, so perhaps that's why. I could see why some people would fear it though.

I am pregnant with my first child and I am very scared of childbirth. I am mostly scared of what it will feel like as far as pain and stuff like that. I heard it burns so that kind of freaks me out. But, you know what, I want it more than I am scared of it.
soooooooooo scared, but then i think to myself look at all the women in the world who lived through it!
