Its normal, all girls want to become women, and this is the first sign of womanhood. So yes, and you will get it soon enough. After awhile of having it though, you will want it to go way. :D

I remember when I was younger I was the first out of all of my friends to get my period. It is normal to want to start yours because you feel more like a woman...it's understandable. If I were you I would enjoy it as loooong as possible not getting your period because it really isn't enjoyable!

its super painful. you have to wear pads or stick a tampon up there. yeah. it sounds weird. but its true. your moody, in pain, uncomfortable and its just not fun. dont worry its coming. and you'll have to live with it for about 50 years.
Trust me.... once you start it you will wish you never got it. Please be patient. You get cramps, bloating, mood swings, fatigue, nausea, etc., etc.. It is not fun. Don't get me wrong, eventually you get used to it but it is still a sucky 7 days each month. Even if your friends say it's not that bad, you may be different. Many of my friends have very light periods and little to no cramps, yet mine lasts a full seven days, is super heavy and I get awful cramps. So anyways, don't rush it. Enjoy not having to buy tampons all the time while you can. Take care!!!

At first when i was in the 5th grade my friend had it i really wanted my pierod i thought it was kool then later that year i got it nd it sucks hun trust me. im 14 i hate it. your stomach kills you the pains are terrible.when you have it you cant even go swimming in the summer. i hate going outside its so uncomfortable. you cant do alott. dont stress it!! and want it so bad because when it comes you will regret it and be like why have i cnt believe i wanted my pieriod

it is pretty normal to want to be like everyone else. although it's not the best way to be. but, believe me, shortly after you start your period you will wish you hadn't. you've got the rest of your life with it, enjoy the freedom you have now.
i was the first one out of the group of my friends to get my period. its really okay to want to get yours. it makes you feel grown up and it makes you feel like you fit in. i remember talking to my one freind and she was always like your so lucky BLAH BLAH BLAH. and i told her what i go through. i get cramps, i bloat( which is when your body restores water it makes you feel fat), i get sick like throw up sick. and all this other crap. talk to your mom about what happens to her or your grandmas because that is most likely what will happen to you. im making it sound bad....i know. but it really isnt as bad as it sounds. you'll get yours sooner or later and you will be like i cant believe i ever wanted to get it so bad

How old are you? I'm 14.5 years old and all my friends already had their periods and I didn't but I wanted to have it so I could fit in. I just got mine last week for the first time at 14.5 much later than all of my friends, and I wish I never got it. My period apparently lasts 9 whole days and is super heavy and I get some bad cramps sometimes and get very emotional during it. Be happy you don;t have it because I am normally very active and it holds me back and during summer I won't be able to swim cuz I'm not allowed to wear tampons and pads are not comfy....
tell me about it... i felt the same way about 2 weeks ago... last sunday, i started it! i was like "wow!!!" didnt see that coming! lol... it hurts, its gross, and u cant do some of the things u can do without it! consider urself lucky u dont have to experience this until later in life! oh, by the way, im 14 and 1/2 years old... i dont know how old u r but i total know how u feel!

ok well, i'm sure all of your friends are happy that there reaching womanhood, BUT theyre probably not happy about cramps, bloating, and taking care of everything that comes along with haveing your period. just be happy right now that you dont have to deal with it hun! it will come one day dont worry:]
