Everyone really is different. Do you know when your mom or close relatives (sister, grandma) got theirs? Don't let your friends scare you, you'll get it, when your body is ready.

To quote another good response I saw on a similar question:

Most girls start to menstruate between ages 10 and 15 years. The average age is 12, but every girl's body has its own schedule. Although there's no one right age for a girl to get her period, there are some clues that menstruation will start soon.

Typically, a girl gets her period about 2 years after her breasts start to develop. Another sign is vaginal discharge fluid (sort of like mucus) that a girl might see or feel on her underwear. This discharge usually begins about 6 months to a year before a girl gets her first period.

Based on that it sounds like you're getting close!!

Yeah, it's normal, some girls who take like gymnastics or stretches or something usually have periods later. It's okay, You'll be fine.

If you do not get it by 18, then see a doctor.

All girls get it when their body is ready...you should make sure that you weight good enough for your age! Some get it at 17 or even 18!!! Relax, but if you are very concerned then maybe you should consult your doctor!!!

Yes, this is normal for some girls. Some girls don't start their period til they are 16 years old. Let your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on the situation.

The discharge is totally normal, and most likely means you're nearly ready to have your first period.

And you should consider yourself lucky that you don't have it yet! There's nothing wrong with you though, that's normal.

don't' start really worry till your 16, i didn't get mine till like 2 1/2 months be for i turned 16, a doctor will tell you if it still hasn't started when your 16 then go see them and worry a little.

first of all, don't listen to your friends. they really don't know what they are talking about. talk to your parents, or call a doctor. they can check to see if something is wrong. everybody is different, though, so i wouldn't be too worried.

also, every female has a white discharge. as long as it doesn't have a strong smell, or you are itchy or it hurts, it shouldn't be a problem.

good luck to you!!

This is completely normal, it's different for everyone some girls get it when their 12 others when their 16 or 17.
If your 18 i suggest going to a Doctor though because that's not normal.
Don't freak out about your body!

yes you cant have kids now but when you do start you can, but it is normal and you have nothing to worry about. A lot of girls start earlier these days, but who wants to grow up fast? You are not done growing and changin to late teens, early 20s so you have plenty of time and believe me your not missing out on anytihng in fact I will trade places with you!

thats totally normal... some girls dont get it until they're 17...

Some girls don't start their periods until 16. You may just be later starting. Other things can affect the start of your period, like if you're severely underweight or overweight. There is also a chance of a hormonal problem. You might consider having your mom take you to the doctors just to make sure there isn't a problem.

Usually you get discharge before you start your period, so maybe you'll get it soon!

Some girls/women get their periods as late as when they are 18. Everyone is different. I got mine when I was 11, but I know people who got theirs as early as when they were 9 and as late as when they were 17/18..don't worry, yours will be here soon! And when it does...you won't want it anymore. When you are 18, and if you still haven't gotten it yet, you have to go see a doctor, because you may have a problem...but I don't think it is anything to be worried about..and yes, I believe if you don't have your period, I don't think there is a way to have kids. I may be wrong, though...I'm only 15 as well!

Completely normal. Some girls don't get their period till age 18. The white discharge does mean that it's on the way soon. I think you should keep a pad in your purse, and some Midol in case you're cursed with the dreaded cramps!

About not being able to have kids...these girls are NOT your friends! That's ridiculous. No worries, OK? Good . :)

don't worry its normal but if u are still worried go see a doctor and just ask him....
good luck:)

I'm fifteen rightn now and I just got my period in December. I was really worried about it ALL the time, like really, and I didn't even tell my friends because I was embarassed. It's god that your friends know and can support you through this.

I had the white discharge for a really long time, so you'll probably get it soon. You might notice that your boobs are getting a little bit bigger too. Like for me I was just a little bit excited because I had been pretty flat chested, and then they started to get just a litttttle bit bigger, and I was happy but I didn't think much about it. Then, a few days later, I got it!

So you'll probably get it soon, try not to thnk about it!! Once you get it you'll be so relieved, although it will probably be hard to tell your mom. It was for me. Anyway, if you don't, go for a checkup. If you're too embarassed to tell your mom, just say you want to try out for a sport and need a physical. Then you can ask the doctor.

Anway, good luck!
Sorry about my long answer and awkwardness lol
But, I would have liked a thorough answer so that's why I did it lol

Normal.

It is normal, unless you have a medical problem. I personally, had a hormone problem I got my period at late 14. No you can't have children if you aren't having a cycle at all. How it works is your ovaries pop out an egg every month. This egg is your future child. It waits for a sperm cell to come and make a child, but if it doesn't get "spermonated", it comes out through a period. The blood along is the lining of the inside of your Va-jay-jay. So you can't get impregnated every day of the month. But if you are late, it's normal. You could just be a late bloomer. Don't worry, the dicharge is a way ar your vagina cleaning itself. It could mean that you are weeks away.

this is totally normal, some girls dont get it until they are 16 so no worries!
