Ladies: question about periods??!

Question: i feel like i can "squeeze" out blood during my period....is that normal? and also when i stand up after sitting down for a while, it feels like jello-ish chunks of blood are being squeezed out of me. i think it's just the uterus tissue stuff coming out, but still...????
does this happen for anyone else?
thank you

thank you

Yes it is normal, your uterus contracts to push out menstrual flow and you can control this yourself, a few women actually use a method called 'free-flow instinctive' which is where they don't use any tampons, pads or menstrual cups, instead they learn when their menstrual flow needs to come out and then they go to the bathroom to push it out, just as they would if they needed to pee.

You'll also find if you have sex or masturbate during your period the contractions from orgasm will push menstrual flow out more too.

When you stand up gravity takes over, everything that was sitting there is now forced down and as your muscles move as you stand it will push the flow out of your body.

Those jello-ish chunks are the larger bits utterus tissue, some people call them blood clots but they aren't clots as menstrual blood has fewer platelets than normal blood so doesn't clot the same, but that's what they mean when people say clots in their menstrual blood.

Yes it is normal.
You sound like my twin I have periods just like this Thank God someone else LOL

Yea its the uterus tissue nothing to really worry about.

eurgh yep I know exactly what you're talking about. It's horrible isnt it, it feels like you've wet yourself or something. Blah.

Anyway, totally normal, don't worry.

Yup thats normel

Totally normal, gravity takes hold when you stand. You could be clotting too, which is also normal.

I should think that happens to most women. You're probably normal.
