Already have seen Doctor, how long does a yeast infection last?!

Question: Usually once you start using the medication you will start feeling relief within 2-3 days. Depending upon the type of medication you are using it can vary as to how long it will take for the infection to clear. Some are 3 day treatments some take as long as 7. What is imperative is that you take the entire course of medication and if you are still having problems follow-up with your doctor. You may also want to have your partner treated if this is a persistent problem, and there could be underlying causes such as diabetes if the infection is recurrent. Good luck.
