the downsides to having breast implants is possible Capsular Contracture (which is tightening of the scar tissue formed around the implant) rupture, hardness, pain etc. Also the possibility of either extreme sensitivity and pain around the nipple and or breast
Before considering to have breast enlargement for whatever reason seriously look into it, in depth; consult with your doctor or surgeon, and DO NOT get it done for a cheaper price because it may seem like a good investment, but your better off paying a higher price and having quality implants, rather then going for the cheaper idea and needing them to be taken out or having something go wrong with your body.

pro- bigger boobs.
Normal guys will think your odd if you have fakies....it is easy to tell. Meathead guys will love them. You reap what you sow...
Pros : If you really want them, they can make people feel better about themselves and their appearance.

Cons: They can leak inside and cause infection
They are very hard to the touch , some guys may be turned off by that
They are incredibly expensive
Con - you are cutting into a perfectly healthy person for cosmetic purposes, which is completely illogical and against the nature of medicine.
Con - most people do it because of vanity/insecurity, which is a really crappy reason for doing anything.
Con - they are not natural in feel or look.
Con - they can interfere with the ability to feel cancerous lumps in the breast
Pro - um... let me think... ahhhh... nope, I got nothing.
Sorry for revealing my bias, but I don't think it is a good idea. I would never want my female friends/lovers/relatives to get them.
Cons: 3 times likely to go suicide, most people think your weird, expensive.
Pros: More sexy.
They need maintenence. It is not the one time fee of X amount. one will have to have them replaced in ten years.
It is risky, and it looks really weird on old ladies.
The constant media images of size 0 women with size D breasts is unrealistic and causes women everywhere to struggle with there self esteem.
I would much rather go to hawaii than have bigger boobs.
Pro- bigger boobs but some guys don't like big boobs

Con-They look fake
They may leak or require further surgery
Con: they tend to ruin wonderfully slim figures.
