Help, feel so bloated?!


Question: I feel so bloated I just can't take it. I get so hungry but I don't want to eat anything because even if I snack I will feel so sick to my stomach. I've taken pepto-bismol hoping it would help and have been drinking ginger ale. I don't know what else to do. I've felt bloated to the point being sick to my stomach for a few days now.

hi, i had the same problem as you for years. i could never figure out what it was until i tried this diet once and after about a week i realized i hadn't had any bloatedness or the pains that come along with it for a few days. for me the problem was way too many carbs. i didn't spend all day eating chips or rice or anything but if i had say chinese food for example or hotdogs, a few hours later i would get sooo bloated that i would have to unzip my jeans. as well as that type of thing it would make me feel really sluggish and just awful. and you feel as though your about 6 months pregnant! anyway it won't hurt you to try this, so maybe try multigrain bread instead of white, cabannossi and cheese instead of chips. that sort of thing. i'm not a health freak or anything but i reckon if you just cut your carbs a LITTLE bit it will make heaps of difference. if you DO decide to try this please let me know how it goes.. good luck!!

sounds like over indulgence after Christmas, dint drink anything fizzy try drinking plenty of water and eating sensibly

Lay off all salt. Drink lots of water and IceTea. Salt makes you retain fluid, which causes the bloated feeling. Drinking lots of water and tea will cause you to go to the bathroom more and get rid of a lot of that fluid.

You should drink tea with REAL pieces of ginger in it and less salt in your diet!

try cold foods such as icecream it helps if you have over eaten so it may work,the food heats the stomach up and the stomach wall.when things heat they swell therefore creating less space.the cold helps shrink the wall back to its correct size creating more space in the process.

Try eating cultured yogurt and drink lots of water.
The yogurt will help you digestive system sort out and the water will remove extra water weight. Your body stores water it if it doesn't get enough and gets you bloated.

take activated charcoal caps - you can find them in pharmacy.
drink lots of water and stay away from sodium (processed foods), fried stuff and sugar and anything made out of white flower.
