Why is my period 5 days overdue?!
Question: It was supposed to be due on the 4th. What's wrong? I haven't had sex in 10 months. Right now, I'm experiencing breast tenderness, menstrual-like cramps but no bleeding, & thick, clear discharge. Also I've been very prone to feeling like I'm going to cry very easily.

Well it may be late, but it sounds like it's coming so get ready! Those are all PMS symptoms. If it doesn't come in the next day or 2, I'd be surprised!
I think it sounds like it might come soon. Sounds like you just might be late, as happens to the best of us.
Stress can make it late...so if you're stressing about it, that could contribute to the problem.
Most likely you just don't have regular periods yet. Most young women don't. I didn't until I was in my 20's. Your cycle will get regular soon enough. It doesn't hurt anything. Some never have regular cycles.

it could be stress preventing your regular flow. if you have any kind of virus causing the discharge, that could be part of it too. you may want to talk to your doctor about hormone therapy. i know that helps me with my moodiness and irregularity.
Could be the stress of Christmas, and worry that you've not come on yet, this can make you late.
