How man calories should a 13 year old girl consume in one day?!


Question: I am 13 and I weigh 125. I'm 5'3" and i dont exactly exercise daily. I want to loose about 10-15 pounds. Dont tell me that I'm not overweight, i know im not i just want to loose some weight! and dont tell me that i dont need to be worrying about calorie intake. How many calories should I consume daily so that I can loose some weight?? How long will it take me? I want to be healthy. Thanks for your help.

normally you should have 2500 but if you want to lose weight eat between 1000-1500 and dont eat bread, pasta and rice or anythin sweet.. trust me this will work cos i lost 20 pounds following this diet! and im 15 btw

eat until your full theres no reason to starve yourself at 13

Just do a little exersice or something that will help. Also what you do is minus 500 calories per day of what your eating right now, EX- you eat 2000 a day, then eat 1500 a day....

Instead of playing on the computer go out and get some exercise!

You need about 1,800-2,000 calories a day to loose weight at your age. You should also be more active, and this will help you reach your goal. Also, in your diet you should eat healthy foods, no so much sugar and fat. Hope this helps! ;P
