Personal question, girls/ladies only!!!?!

Question: Okay, so I'm 13 and I haven't gotten my period yet. My mom got hers when she turned 13 and I went to the doctor around my 13th birthday, and she said I should be getting it within 6 months. But I'm in 8th grade, and ever since 6th, I've had breasts, armpit hair, pubic hair, and discharge. This morning I stood up and it felt like a waterfall was coming out of my vagina. =/ I went to the bathroom and my underwear was like, full of discharge. Can anyone tell me what this means? When am I supposed to get it? Did anyone get this before their first period? All my friends have it, and I feel bad because I lie to them about having it. Please, no rude answers, it's taking a lot of courage to ask this on the internet..

It really sounds like its coming soon if you have that much discharge I'd give it about a month and you'll have it. I know its embarrasing not to have it when the rest of your friends do but come clean, they will respect you for the courage to tell them. Then maybe when you get it you and your friends can celebrate or something.
Good luck= ]

p.s. you may want to put a panty liner on because of the discharge

All women develop at different rates. I'm not sure what this discharge might be, but I'm sure it's normal. If you are worried talk to your mom and see if she knows since she could see it if you still have your panties. Without seeing it, it's hard to tell. It could be the start? Don't worry, you'll start when it starts.

sorry honey but you need to visit askwomen.com there are going to be rude people on here no matter what you ask. some people just don't care. askwomen.com has women that understand you wont get rude comments either. goodluck.

it could be coming soon... diff. people devolpe in diff ways dont worry that u dont have it.. once u get it u wont want it any more trust me! also some people dont get it untill 14 or even 15 some that is.. i got mine when i was 12 and my mom got hers when she was almost 14 so u cant really go by that all the time..

Don't worry about it! That's completely normal. I had the exact same thing happen to me. It just means that it'll be coming soon or in the near future. For me it took me a couple years, but I wasn't really developed or anything. One of my friends had the same thing though and she was, so it took her like a month and then it came. Be honest with your friends! It takes a lot to correct a lie, and your real friends will totally understand and support you. they'd be much happier if you told them the truth. Wear a panty liner for the discharge, it's more comfortable that way. I wish you luck!

It could be a sign that you're ovulating, in which case you could expect your period in about 2 weeks.

Also, guys are instinctually attracted to discharge because it's a sign that you're fertile, it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

it is f ine so do not worry

i think ive had that once, it felt like something snapped in my lower stomache no need to be worried your period will start soon but be prepared make sure u have pads!! u usally bleed alot the first time
