Does excersize delay your first period?!

Okay, I did some research and I don't think an ordinary level of activity would stop your period: you'd have to be training rigorously and constantly, like an Olympic athlete.

Not having periods is called AMENORRHEA. They don't count it until you're 16 years old, as periods can start anytime up to the age of 17 in a normal girl

Another possible cause is low weight: if a woman's body has no fat reserves, it interprets that as a famine and the reproductive organs don't operate until the fat level comes up to a minimum necessary to sustain a pregnancy. Not that you want to get pregnant - this is just talking generally, about female biology!

If you are exercising a lot, and dieting rigorously, this could easily explain why your period hasn't started.

It can. If you over exercise your body wouldn't be able to cope with having your period so it tries to stop it so that your body can keep going normally without the stress of a period.

No not at all.periods may occur at any age from 12 to 16.don't worry.I can suggest u some tips so that periods would start.1)drink hot jaggery solution daily 1 cup.2)eat flax seeds.3)do pranayam -it is a breathing exercise.In that u hav to throw out or exale air, for example -how do we clean our nose which is runny,we forcefully throw out the fluid, in the same manner here in this exercise u hav to throw out ur breath when u do so ur stomach will contract. In this way strokes are produced in stomach.while doing this exercise take care that u do with medium speed and do not giv any strain to ur face.U can do this exercise daily for 15 minutes.If do it properly i am sure u will hav ur period and even hav good mental and physical health.
