How do i tell my mum i want to start shaving?!
Question: i'm nearly 13 (i am old enough) and i have hairy legs!
its horrible all my friends shave. i think my mum will let me but i just don't know how to ask her

I'm 12 and I was in I think Wal-mart and I put some in the basket when she went to get something else and said mom can I get these? and if she says no say Mom i think I reallly need them... It worked for me... lol

go up to your mum and say "mum my legs are like beasts buy me some razors, or i will buy them myself.with your money " or you could get them waxed but it kills
Don't. Don't even shave. Ask your mom to buy you Nair or Veet. That's what I started out with to avoid cuts and such.

Just be in the bathroom and call your mum and and have a general normal convo ya know about schol or something, then like look at your legs or something and say, "aww I wish my legs wernt hairy, should I use a hair removal cream or sumtin"? she should then get the jist
she should understand. Youre going to be in high school next year so really, just tell her you want to and be straight up with her
i did and she said ok cuz my legs were really really hairy and now they r not! just say " mom omg my legs r so hairy i really want to shave. can i? " and then go on ur knees and beg.
lol im 13. i started to shave not so long ago. the deal is when i asked her she started to get carried away. so be sensative and just ask her like if you have no worries. =D hope dat helped.. well at least a lil ")
I know what you mean... just ask her about it and see what she says.. thats what I did and it worked
let her see how hairy your legs are - tell her that you are self-conscious about it. I'm sure she will see things your way.
when i was 10 my mom got me a razor for christmas tell her thats what you want for your birthday. or walk around the house with shorts on and make sure she notices
I think you are old enough that she would be supportive of you. Try it.
just do it hun or talk to your mum she will understand your growing up she may even show u how to do it

Then be prepared to tell her why.
just say that that u need to shave ur legs
when you two are alone and not doing something akward (like hanging a chandelier).. ask her if she can teach you how to shave your legs properly.... It will probably make her feel nice and she'll want to help... don't be afraid...nothing to bad.

O.K. I went through that too. Just show your mom that your legs are hairy...if they truly are and tell her other girls shave their legs too when they are your age, and she probably will say yes. I showed my mom and it worked. (i told a couple of years ago..like 1 1/2??) I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
