I think I was a 11 years old when I got my period. But HONESTLY, I never tried tampons until I was 19. Used 'em ever since, and they are wonders! Helps especially if your periods are heavy!
13. i was 13, and it was about 5 months after my first. it was awkword asking my mom, but the tampons are great. seriously.
12 and when i got my 3rd period
i was 13 and my mom had me try one on and it was 1 year after i first came on, i did not like it
At least 15 and I got my period at 12. My mother wouldn't buy them as she thought they were disgusting (she was very old fashioned and religious, perhaps she thought that they would make me lose my virginity!!!!). I had to wait until I had an after school job and buy them myself. I think she was very unkind because it meant I was different from all the other kids. When my daughter got her period she had the chioce of what she used.
I didn't start using tampons until I was about 16 which was 5 years after my first period.
I'm now in my 30s and once I started using tampons, I've never been able to go back to pads. Much prefer tampons..

I started having my period when i was 10 and I couldn't use tampons because i had problems with inserting them. So i was 14 when i finally got used to them so i could take part of gym swimming classes in high school. (but i had 3 years there were i didn't have a period from health problems.)
I was about 16; I started my period when I was about 10.
