Does the human eyeball grow as the human ages?!

Question: Does the human eyeball grow as the human ages?
People say yes and no and the majority says no, but i have a friend that is 10 and blind and her glass eye has to be replaced every six months as she grows is this because she grows or just because it needs to be replaced?

Answers:

Tony is mostly right, except that the eyes aren't the same from birth.

Our eyes grow about 20% larger from birth until about the age of 5, then they stay the same after.

Yes, it's because her head is still growing. Every 6 months is surprising though.

nope, the eyes stay the same size from the day you're born, the reason your friend needs to have different glasses is because the face itself changes over time and the head gets bigger.
