I have trouble taking out daily disposible contacts, used a lens plunger but it !

Question: I have trouble taking out daily disposible contacts, used a lens plunger but it got stuck to my eye!?!?!?
I spend about an hour trying to take out my contacts because when i pinch, they won't come out! I used to wear hard lenses (orthok lenses) which came with a lens plunger so i tried using the plunger on my soft daily disposible lenses but then they stuck to my lens (while still in my eye) and wouldn't come off no matter how hard i pulled! So there i was, blinking with a plunger stuck to my contact stuck to my eyeball.
its always very painful taking out my contacts because it takes me ages to get it out and my eye becomes all red and swollen.
any help/suggestions?
I hate wearing glasses!

the reason i had to stop wearing the hard orthok lenses (search them up if u dont know what they are) was because one of the lenses got infected and made my eyes too sensitive to wear them anymore.

Like you I swopped from hard contacts to soft contacts and they are more difficult to take out especially dailies which are thinner. Its a completely different technique. I personally don't like this pinch technique they go for these days particularly for dailies. If you have dry eyes then put some drops in designed for soft contacts before you start and dryness doesn't help. Then for the right eye hold the upper lid open using the 2nd finger from the thumb of the left hand and the same finger of the right hand for the bottom lid. Now look towards your nose and KEEP looking towards your nose. Using the finger next to the thumb of the right hand put your finger on the lens and push it towards the outer corner. If you keep looking at your nose this pushes the lens off the bit of the eye it fits best. Then as it approaches the outer corner of the eye you can pinch it off using the thumb adn the finger you are moving it with. This is easier than pinching it directly off your eye as the lens is already starting to rumple.

You will get the technique if you persist - its frustrating if you have worn hard lenses as they are so easy ot get out. However soft contacts have masses of advantages and there isn't any need to go back to glasses because you are having this problem. Your eye probably gets swollen as you are pinching the eye as well as the lens which is easy to do with dailies.

It can be so frustrating the first times... Use some eye drops to moist your eyes.

Don't try to pinch the contact to take it out. Its difficult. Instead, look down in the inner corner of your eye and hold your eyelids open with your fingers (use both hands!). Then, with your index finger touch gently the contact and push it all the way to the outer corner of your eye. There it is very easy to pull it out, as it is already pretty folded.

At first when I was too frustrated to take the contact off (I've reached 2 hours trying to get one contact out...) I would rub my eye as hard as it needed so that the contact would go itself in the outer corner, folded, ready for me to pull it out. But it's not a method I suggest... xD its better if you keep trying. Then it'll get easier day by day.

At firts you can try sitting on a table, with a table mirror. It helps stay focused on your eye and not move. It has really helped me.

I have never seen an actual plunger, so I don't think I can give you advice on how to take this one off. I hope that you can get the contact off with the pluger on it. :)) :$ Good luck!! :D
