Question: Question about contact lens? why there is a limit time wearing them?
Answers:
if you wear contacts too long your eyes get irritated and bacteria can grow on the lenses causing eye infections. Also, even though most contacts are now 'breatheable' they still cover the eye, causing your eye to not be able to 'breathe' and your blood vessels then start to grow into your pupil, which will eventually cause blindness.
Because of protein build up!
Protein buildup often occurs when contact lenses are worn beyond the recommended durations or not cared for properly. Additionally, some people are just more prone to producing protein buildup on their contact lenses than others. Either cause of excessive protein deposits should be taken seriously because they can have damaging effects on the eye. The mildest effects include dry eyes and minor discomfort but protein buildup can also lead to allergic reactions, infections and diminished vision in more severe cases.

I think that your eyes get damaged, in a way. (Germs on the contacts aswell).I know someone who wears contacts every day, so maybe it's something to do with the fact you have about 200+ eye power.
I would stick with glasses though. :)
