I've used opti-free for years. There are many solutions out on the market. Each is made by a different company. Strict FDA criteria must be followed so they are all good. Some may "feel" better depending on your personal eye chemistry. Best thing is to find one you like and stick with it.

I use clear care. I like it because my contacts just feel better and more clean. It uses a special canister and creates bubbles and cleans them better. You can only use the solution for the special contact case though.
I buy generic. Not a big difference. I started with Opti-Free. I've used Renu before. I haven't noticed a big difference.
