in eyes what is kala pani?!


Question: In eyes what is kala pani?
today the eye specialist suggested that my left eye has lsot vision 95% while right has 60%.my eye vision is good .what is kala pani .and how it is eroding eye sight.as per him,my eye corner sight has gone--mysterious

In Punjab (Hindi) it could be either Glaucoma or Cataracts.
