Urgent question about contact lenses, need to know soon.?!

Question: Urgent question about contact lenses, need to know soon.?
Basically, i'm off to have an contact lense exam soon and i am worried about putting them on/removing them.
1. Are you allowed to look up and put it in on the white part of your eyeball then blink - will it centre by itself?
2. Do your eyes water/sting after applying.
3. How does it feel after applying them, like does it feel like a rock in your eye etc.
4. When taking them out, what is the best strategy because i'm not really sure.

Thanks, it's much appreciated.

1. yes
2. sometimes if they are not clean, but they usually dont
3. it should feel like nothing if they are the right kind for your eyes
4. you can just pinch it and it will pop up and you can grab it and take it out

they will teach you all of this when you get them

OK - I will try my best to answer:
1 - Yes you can look up and then slide the lens onto your eye with your finger
2- it might make your eyes teary the first few times, but you get used to it
3- You might feel it in your eye for a few seconds, but after that it should feel like nothing
4 - I put my middle finger on the lens in my eye and then move the lens towards my thumb and sort of pinch the lens out.

Here is a video (the removing and applying tips video) that can probably help you better than my descriptions above :) http://bit.ly/Contacts101

Good luck!!!!

1. Yes, but trust me its better to put it directly.
2. YES, but after many use it will not
3. NO, i couldn't feel the contacts.
4. Look straight, pull down your contact to your bottom eyelid, once it folds you could easily get your contacts by your thumb and next to the thumb finger hah.

i bought contact last last week and its so comfortable. i could easily get them in and out.

CONTACT LENSES USER.

I always look up to put my contacts in, then blink & look down & it goes right over your eye, look in a mirror to do it, once you get the hang of it you can pop them in real easy, always wash your hands thoroughly before putting them in or taking them out to avoid eye infections, stinging, watering. They could also sting if something gets on the contact before you put it in, or you get an eyelash in your eye in which case just take it out, rinse with solution & put back in. You can feel the contacts at first a tiny bit, but after a hour or so you don't ever really notice it again. When taking them out, I look up & take 1 finger & slide it down to where I can grab it with my finger & thumb.

I've been wearing contacts for over 17yrs.
