Light reflections off of new glasses?!

Question: Light reflections off of new glasses?

Hi, I just picked up new glasses and besides the fish bowl view and headaches that come from not wearing glasses for two years, I'm experiencing "reflections" in the light. Like, if someone was standing in the light I would see a red/yellow outline around them. Is this just a side effect or should I take these back?

You may need to take back... It shouldn't take your eyes long to adjust to the glasses. But that doesn't even sound normal. I wear glasses also and have NEVER experienced that.
