What is the best treatment option for my lazy eye?!

Question: What is the best treatment option for my lazy eye?
I'm 17 years old and i have had prior lasik surgery when i was about 4 or so. It really hasn't been too much of a bother to me until i reached high school. I guess this is because the majority of people in high school try to find a way to look down on someone. I've made it through this far by ignoring them but i just can't take it anymore. I was fine with the guys making fun of me, but then girls started to not like me because of it. And it's saddening, because all of the other stuff like how you dress, talk, what music you like, or who you hang out with, that doesn't bother me, just when they bring that up. It makes me feel inadequate, like i'm hideous, & unbearable to even look at. Even though the people around me say it isn't that bad. I spend most everyday in the mirror pushing my eye over to imagine ya know. What if? And i just want to get it fixed so i don't have to deal with these problems anymore and i can enjoy the rest of high school and the rest of my life without facing these same consistent problems and questions...

So i was wondering if i can still have surgery, or if there's another type of therapy i can do on my own so i won't have to go through the humiliation of wearing a patch. Any help would be vastly appreciated. Thank you.

Answers:

You can't treat a lazy eye at your age but I'm assuming that you have a squint as that's what people would notice.

That could certainly be operated on to give a cosmetic improvement. You need to see an ophthalmic surgeon who could advise you on what's possible.
