You have a mild prescription and you likely have at least 20/40 vision uncorrected with your left eye!. I have a similar prescription and do not have the restriction on my driver's license!. My right eye has 20/20 vision and easily passes the eye test at the DMV!. My left eye has between 20/50 and 20/60 vision and does not pass the test at the DMV!.
I choose to wear corrective lenses while driving even though I am not required to!. I prefer being able to see the road and street signs with both eyes!. I suggest that you do the same!.
You should wear your eyeglasses when you need them for activities requiring good distance vision!. I do not think you need to wear them at all times unless you want to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A myopic Rx like yours isn't likely to warrant any driving restrictions!. However, you were given a prescription because you see better with it!. You should consider wearing your spectacle or contact lens correction at all times, especially when responsibly operating a moving vehicle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably won't be required to wear corrective lenses when you get your driver's license because your prescription is mild enough not to have to wear glasses when driving!.

Its unlikely as your left eye has a really mild prescription even though your right eye may not be up to DMV standard!. You should only use glasses if you feel the need to do so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
