Hey gbaby--

Contacts can't go behind your eye--so don't worry--

They either came out---check around your bed, or they are folded
up under your LID!.

If you don't have any--go and get some re-wetting drops that say for contacts!.

Flood your eyes with the drops and gently massage your closed eyes
---if they are under the lid, they should show themselves!.

If you can't find them and your eye gets irritated, go to the DOC!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are some contacts that are specifically designed to be worn constantly regardless of your conscious state!. Again, it depends on the individual doctor as to their recommendation!. Some think constant wear contacts are very dangerous, and some recommend them to everyone!.There are few reasons most doctors discourage sleeping in contacts!. Your eye needs oxygen to stay healthy!. Contacts vary in how much they allow your eye to "breathe"!. This is why some contacts are made for constant wear; they tend to be more gas-permeable!. The amount of oxygen that gets to your eye is decreased slightly when you wear any type of contacts, and even more so when you sleep in contacts!. This can irritate your eyes, increase the amount of visible veins in your eye, and some people theorize that it can cause other lasting eye health deterioration!.
As for it being behind your eyes i'm pretty sure its not possible for that to happen!. at most would be on top or something check it out closely, and the chances of you going blind is really really slim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on what type of contact lenses you used!. But the chances of you going blind are quite slim!.

If you do manage to get an infection, an optimologist would help you, and they will prescribe medicine to help your body fight!. This will dramatically decrease your chances of going blind

Also, a contact lense going behind your eye is impossible due to the shape of the lens itself!. However, check your eye carefully to see if it is stuck somewhere in your upper eyelid!. Or go to an optimologist to help you get it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you'll go blind, but maybe go to an eye doctor just in case there's a problem!? Check in the corners of your eyes, sometimes they are folded in the corners (so you can't see, but they are still there)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to go to the doctor to get them out!. A friend of mine had a car accident, and lost a contact!. He later got a nasty infection - turns out it had just slipped up and over his eyeball!. Have a doctor look at it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
