New Contacts and Solution...RED EYES!!!?!
Question: New Contacts and Solution!.!.!.RED EYES!!!!?
I have been wearing contacts for 11 years with no problem!. For the past 3 years I have used Acuvue Advance with hydroclear for Astigmatism with Renu solution!. Last week I got new contacts the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism and I changed to Opti Free Replenish!. The first day was fine!. But the second day I noticed that my eyes started getting red!. There is no discomfort, no spots, no pain, no light sensitivity or blurriness occuring with my eyes!. Just red eyes!. I put red out eye drops in my eyes and it worked!. Then I would put the contacts on and then hours later my eyes are red!. I put rewetting drops in my eyes which helped a little bit!. I have read numerous online complaints about red eyes and contacts and it seems to be the solution!.
I don't sleep in my contacts AT ALL!. I also don't leave them in very long!. The longest I had them in is for 10 hours!.
So anyone out there who can give me some advice or had this similar problem I would gladly appreciate!. Since I am laid off I have no insurance so going to an eye doctor is not an option right now unless it becomes serious!.

When I wore contacts, I noticed that certain solutions would make my eyes red or blotchy!. Especially the off brand kinds!. I'd say go back to your regular solution!. Because the solution you're using now could cause eye problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
