Eye colour changes - Just wondering?!

Question: Eye colour changes - Just wondering!?
My eyes are blue, but when I am in daylight, the blue goes really bright, and people think I wear contact lenses because my hair is dark and my eyes are bright blue!. But when it's dim light, my eye colour goes dark blue!. Why does eye colour change in daylight/night-time!? xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your eyes are not just blue!.!. Tut!. They're beautiful blue!. its because of the light exposure to your eyes but hey with your eyes they always look beautiful, hence beautiful blue :) xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I'm hardly an expert, but I've heard it's to do with some kind of chemical reaction!.

EDIT: Got this from Wikipedia, lol

It is thought that exposure to light after birth triggers the production of melanin in the iris of the eye!. By three years of age, the eyes produce and store enough melanin to indicate their natural shade!. While changes in eye color of infants are more common, even in adults, eye color changes are seen, most often as a result of exposure to the sun!. Sunlight triggers melanin production in the eye, as it does to the skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's the reflection of light that makes them brighter in the sun!.
When you are in a dimmer room there's less light to reflect brightness!.
Have you ever looked at your eyes in the bathroom mirror when your eyes are teared up!?
The more moisture in the eyes while in light the brighter your eyes seem due to the reflection of the light and moisture!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your eye colour does not change!. The light just makes them look really bright!. When I put a torch next to my eye, they looked light brown when in fact they are dark brown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have absoloutely no idea hun, but just wanted to point out that my sons eyes vary from dark blue, to green through the light! Strange isnt it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is a chemial reaction with the light and such!. Also, right after I cry, my eyes look green to me (but they are really blue)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it doesnt-it's just that light makes them brighter (not really just how u see them)
and darkness-well theres less light so there not as brightWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think it's just the way the light hits them!. It's like an optical illusion!.
