I've had my contacts for a day...?!
Question: I've had my contacts for a day!.!.!.!?
I wore them for 4 hours!. My eyes are red and itchy now even though i took them off 5 1/2 hours ago!. I'm probably being paranoid but is something wrong or is it normal for your eyes to do this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have contacts,and this happens to me all the time!.
it could mean multiple things!.
1)yer eyes are dry!.
2)allergies or there is something irratating in it!.
3)when you had yer contacts in there was something on the lense that was transferred to yer eyes!.
try putting in eye drops,
or flushing yer eyes out with luke warm water!.
does the trick for me!.

I wear contacts too and have been since this past April!.
Mine are kind that you can sleep with!. For one week I wear a pair (night and day) then i rest my eyes for a day at the end of the week while the one pair cleans in solution!. Then i wear them again for another week!. At the end of the week i through the pair away and rest my eyes for another day!.
the cycle starts again next day w/ a new pair!.
sometimes if my eyes r irritated, dry i have to clean contacts or through them away!.
use re-wetting drops frequently to maintain, comfort, moisture and shape!.

I have contacts and this has never happened to me!.!. you may be allergic to something in them, that is very common I had a friend who was like allergic to almost every type, they eventually found one she wasn't thought lol :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
