Why do my contacts hurt after just a few hours of wear?!
Question: Why do my contacts hurt after just a few hours of wear!?
I clean my contacts morning and night!. I use the once a week protein stuff!. But I can only wear them for like 5 hours without them becoming very uncomfortable!. I do use re wetting drops but they only work for so long!. Can I be causing damage to my eyes!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be that the contacts you have are not fully suitable for your eyes!. When I first moved to contact lenses from glasses, my optician tried me with 3 different types before we decided which were the best for me!. I can now wear these lenses for up to 14 hours a day with no effects whatsoever!.

I wear contacts and the same thing was happening to me!. I ended up changing to new contacts and different cleaning solution, that helped!. But I do know that contacts are going to become uncomfortable after wearing them for long periods of time anyway!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Bring it to the attention of your eye care professional!. Contact lenses are made in different formulations!. Call the eye doctor and give them your symptoms and see if you can switch brands or types of contacts!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
