Question: Are colored contacts safe for your eyes!?
I really want blue or a honey golden eye color!. I have dark brown eyes and light brown hair!. I'm not allowed to get contacts because my family says they are not safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got contacts for my graduation (younger grad) they are perfectly safe as long as you don't have astigmatism !.!.!.check with ur eye doctor he will help you with it!.
I'd advice the grey contacts (its sounds weird but they are gorgeus and exotic) I have dark brown hair and eyes and they looked fine on me!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

The professional ones which you can get fitted for your eyes by optometrists at the shops are quite safe, and they last about 3 months (1 year if safely used!.)
The cheap ones are very bad!. The coloring on the lense can leak into your eyes!. :P

Not safe how!? If you don't clean them, you might get an eye infection!. I don't think anyone has ever died from that!.
Get your contacts and enjoy them! Consider they are safer than glasses in that if you get struck in the face, shards of glass aren't going to be propelled into your ocular cavities!.

Regular contacts are perfectly good!. But I wouldn't get colored contacts!. The irritation it causes isn't worth the aesthetics!. I recommend wearing regular contacts for 6 months and then see if you still want colored contacts!. Contacts are perfectly safe if you take care of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
they are extremely safe, just the same as regular contacts!.
But ive looked for some good colored contacts and unfortunatly i havent found anything that changes my dark brown eyes to a pretty light color!.
But tell me if you do find a pair that work :)

Look up a few articles, talk to people who use them, my mother wears them, she has light brown eyes and the blue ones turned her eyes like, ocean blue!. It's safe!.

I doubt they are bad for your eyes, a lot of people are paranoid, haha, sounds like something my dad would say!. My dad said "Antiperspirant deodorant causes skin cancer"!. If some one can make that up I sure they are over reacting about colored contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
colored contacts are the same as any other contact except they have a bit of a tint where the colored part of your eye is!. you dont even see the colored part when you wear them so they are like any other contact!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i need contacts to see and im often switching colors from green to blue to honey etc!. i've been wearing them for 3years nothing bad has happened at all!. ofcourse the only consequences come in if you sleep with the contacts which u shouldn't!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
They are ok to use as long as you practise safe cleaning procedures!. Always wash hands, clean them thoroughly and do not sleep with them on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
