I been wearing contacts on and off I've never wore them twice consecutively because after an 1h or 2hr i feel my eyes getting dry!. (Sometimes I will last weeks without wearing them)!. Is this something you eyes get used to if I were to wear them more!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You have to build up your wear time in order for your eyes to get used to them!. The first day you should wear them for about 4 hours, then add an hour to each day after that!. Until you've reached a max time of 12-14 hours per day, no longer!. Your eyes will not get used to them if you're occasionally wearing them!. Always use rewetting drops throughout the day!. You cannot OD on the drops, and they will keep your eyes moisterized!. When your eyes get dry this will also dry out the lenses, causing discomfort!. As your eyes get used to the lenses, you will find yourself using less drops!. Contact lenses should never feel uncomfortable and you shouldn't feel them in your eyes!. If you're still having problems after trying this, then it may be an improper fit and you should consult your eye doctor!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been wearing contacts for a year and a half now, and over the last 2 months I've had really dry eyes - mainly whilst wearing the contacts!.

Eye drops that work with contacts are great, and you can use them as often as you want, they get rid of that really uncomfortable feeling

but it may be due to the contacts not being put in properly!. If i don't put mine in properly i can feel it straight away and i have to take them out; basically, they should feel like they're not even there as soon as you've put them in

Another point, the way I was taught to put them in didn't really work for me, and you may be putting them in the same way as i was!.!. try holding your eyelids apart, putting the lens pretty much over the whole of the iris (a little bit below the top of the iris, but covering the pupil!.!. then look down and blink a few times (while still holding your eyelids apart)!. Then the lens should be in perfectly and shouldnt cause any trouble!. If it does you may be using the wrong type of lens (the opticians want to change the material of mine due to my newly dry eyes), and yerr thats pretty much it

the eye drops really help though :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I wear contacts and i was used to them in the first day!.
- They could be a cheap brand of contacts
- Could be wearing them inside out because i have done that before!.
- Not the right prescription
- Could be the solution you keep them in (Renu had a recall thats all i know of)
- Not Cleaning them well
You could try using some drops for contacts (opti free is good)

Hey im not a doctor so what do i knowWww@Answer-Health@Com
