Part of my right eye has a big red spot in it?!

Question: Part of my right eye has a big red spot in it!?
I looked in the mirror and noticed that under my right lower eyelid I saw a big red spot on the white part of my eye!. It looks really red, like pink eye would I guess but it has no pain or itch to it!. Do you know what this could be and what could have caused it!? Also, do you think it's something I will need to go to the eye doctor for!? If not, how long do you think it will last before it goes away!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
its called a subconjunctival hemorrhage!. Caused by strain (like from hard stools or lifting heavy objects) or weak vessels that come with a variety of disorders or in old age!. Its usually painless but unsightly!. Nothing can actually be done for it, it resolves by itself in a couple of weeks!. It does not hurt to see the doctor to determine what caused it and to determine if you have some vessel weakness which could indicate a bigger problem!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be a broken blood vessel!. if there is no pain or discharge from the eye i wouldnt worry about it too much!. those can happen to anyone at any time!. if it really bothers you go to see the doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
