yes hunn, DO NOT i repeat DO NOT RUB! if you rub it it can spread!. it happened to my sister!. so trust me!.i have also had one!. they hurt and when you cry it swells,and you wont really cry out of it!. pretty much what a stye is is your tear duck is stopped up with the sticky "eye buggers"!.you need to take a q-tip when you wake up and gently roll it over the tear duck!. not to hard though!.here are some good steps to get rid of it:
step1: wash hands and dry!.
step2: put your finger right under it!.
step3: and push the gooey stuff out!.
step4: take a q-tip with the other hand and gently roll the q-tip to get the goo!.
step5:when you take a shower MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR FACE! (especially the eye)

Hot compresses as hot as you can stand it for at least 5 minutes at a time but the more often the better!.!.!.!.!.you want it to "come to a head" so it will break and drain!.!.!.!.!.don't cut it or lance it!.!.!.!.just use hot compresses!.!.!.!.that works better than anything!.!.!.!.if that doesnt work you may have to get it removed!.!.!.!.!.a stye is just a pimple on your lid!.!.!.!.a blocked oil gland!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it looks like a stye to me!. how long have you had it for!?!. the best course of treament is to use a cream from the chemist such as brolene!. try not to rub the eye as this will only make it worse and don't use eye make up as you can easily transfer the infection to the other eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
