Question: Can you wear contacts with astigmatism!?
Ok so at my last eye exam they told me i have astigmatism is my left eye and my mom said that means i cant wear contacts!. is that true or does she just not want to buy them for me!? lol :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

She probably doesn't realize that there are special toric lenses for astigmatism, since some years ago, people with astigmatism could not wear contact lenses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
She probably doesnt want to buy them for you because they're more expensive when you have astigmatism!. There are several different lenses out there for people with astigmatism but they are made of a thicker material and one end of the lens is actually weighted so that it sits a certain way on your eye!. That's what corrects the vision problem!. If you only have it in one eye, you will only have to have the special lens for that one eye and the other eye can use a regular lens!. It's no big deal, just a little more expensive and they have to be put in a certain way!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yep!. I have astigmatism in both eyes!. I saw a lot of bending and orange on the screen woo bad stuff lol!. Haven't you seen the Acuvue commercials for astigmatism!? If you have bad astigmatism/eyesight you may have to have custom lenses which are Rigid Gas Permeable, and they are not bad!. They are expensive though but last awhile but I already lost both contacts, Rebought one for $80 bucks and then lost another one the same day (which made loosing the pair) so now I just have one and don't even bother anymore!. Anyways Im rambling n you probably don't care lol!. But yes you can wear contacts dear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She doesn't want to buy them for you, lol!. Or she just doesn't know any better!. There are contacts specifically designed for people with astigmatism - and I've got slight astigmatism and I still wear contacts! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
