Yes, you can use the generic stuff, it's the same thing!.
The doctor or the place you got your contacts from only give you the starter kit given to them by whatever company!. They may have several companies that give them satarter kits, sometimes they'll ask you which one you prefer to use!. They do this so you'll buy more of their product!.
But truly it okay to use store brand!. The reason that the ingreients are different is that some are just saline and others have the "no Rub" "No'Heat" other clean the lenses in shorter amount of time!. but really theres no difference!. As long as you wear them according to the doctors orders you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

generics are okay
the main reason your doctor gave you opti free is because he/she gets it from the manufacturer as advertisement in hopes that the user will continue to use it
ask your eye doctor if youre not sure he/she should be able to tell you if the solution is not a scamWww@Answer-Health@Com

I've used all kinds of solutions, they all work just fine!.
You may just want to go with a less expensive brand name!.
Or maybe not a Wal-Mart version, but a CVS/Eckerd version!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
