If you're in the UK, check the Highway Code - that gives the number of meters away that you have to be able to read the number plate!.
If you're not in the UK, sorry, can't help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the law where you live and the type of licence you need!.

In most places you need at least one eye with 20/40 to 20/60 with glasses on and 120 degrees field of vision for a general licence!. Bus, taxi and truck licences will be stricter!.

Some places allow you to drive with worse vision providing you pass a special in car driving test and have some restrictions (for example -no night driving, no 4 lane hwy)!.

Call your local government agency that licences drivers for an accurate answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
