A question about Chalazion surgery?!
Question: Im about to get my chalazion surgery in 2 weeks. If you have actually got one removed from your eye, can you tell me your experience from that surgery?
Did it hurt?
How long would it take you to heal, before you start school or work?
Thank you.

Well, depending upon how large the chalazion is, it is usually an in office procedure that is numbed by injection and patched afterwards. You are instructed to keep the patch on for 2-4 hours then you should be able to go about normal activities. There is little to no pain during or afterwards. You are then given an ointment to apply a couple of times a day.
Aesthetically speaking, it is rarely any more noticeable than the actual chalazion itself was and heals quickly.
