Does wearing someone elses glasses really screw you up?!
Question: Me and my guy freiend sometimes switch glasses as a joke. Everything is slightley distorted but it doesn't actually hurt my eyes and I can see more clearly than I would without glasses altogether. We don't do it for very long. Besides straining your eyes is their any other "side effects". Its so much fun because we look like such idiots!

Technically, there are no other "side effects." The more you wear them, you may get headaches because your eyes have to strain to refocus the light going into your eye. But these are not serious and will go away. Basically, all a glasses lens does is redirect light into the eye in order to focus the picture onto the retina. It doesn't actually do anything to your eyes.
it only hurts you if you wear them for an extended amount of time. once in a while is ok but i wouldn't make it a habbit.
