Question: I was prescribed ciprofloxacin for a corneal abrasion and every time i put the drops in my eyes I get a nasty taste in the way back of my mouth. like my throat area. Anyone know why when I put meds in my eyes can taste it? Anyways to get rid of the taste?

That's totally normal. Your sinuses around the eyes and nose are connected to your throat (that's why guys can hawk such disgusting loogies). The solution that isn't absorbed into your eye drains through the sinuses, so you can taste it in the back of your throat. I had some prescription eyedrops that did the same thing; absolutely nothing would make the taste go away since it was so far back in my throat, but sometimes really thick foods like peanut butter or marshmallows would help.
I don't know why it happens, but it's normal.
Try some gum or gargle w/ wouthwash
