Is it a bad idea to wear contact leds on a boat?!

Is it a bad idea to wear contact leds on a boat?

Im going on a boat trip, and im not sure if i should wear them? Will the sea water affect them in any way?

Answers:

No, I go to the beach and on the boat all the time with my contacts in and nothing has ever happened. It would be a bad idea to wear your glasses, what if you lose them over the side of the boat? Wearing your contacts will not hurt anything, I actually recommend it and the sea water will not do anything to harm them at all.
