Any ideas?? My eyes have been feeling sticky and my vision keeps blurring?

Over the last few days my eyes have felt sticky and I have had blurry vision, there is no weepiness, itchiness or redness and it is not like conjunctivitis or anything I can find symptoms for. The best way I can describe it is it feels like i have oil in my eye, if i pull my eyes wide it helps. Anyone know what this could be?? Thanks!

Thanks everyone so far!! I haven't spoken to an eye doctor yet, but I will if they haven't cleared up after the bank holiday. I will try the rinsing and compresses until then

Pink eye isn't always 'weepy'... you might have it, or you might just have a different kind of eye infection. Saying your eye feels sticky or like it has oil in it is a big giveaway. I would recommend going to the doc. You don't want to take chances with your eyes!!
