I got a prescription for my eyes... now what?
I got a prescription for glasses and contacts from the optical center at wal-mart. Can I now goto any eye care place to get glasses and contacts or do I have to go back to wal mart's vision center to get my glasses/contacts? I wanted to goto lens crafters since I will be in the mall. Is it okay if I do or do I need to get another exam just to get my glasses/contacts from there?

Well hun the prescription is your property...and you can choose to fill it wherever you would like!!! Never feel obligated to get it filled by the same place that gave you the exam! In the case of contact lenses it will be best to have your follow up appointments with the same professional that originally fit your contacts for consistency. As for buying the contact lenses you can buy them in any optical that carries your type of contacts as long as you have a valid prescription :)
