Has anyone ever had a bad experience with contact lenses?
i`m in the process of deciding if i want to try out contacts.i`m wondering if their is any real dangers to wearing them.i`ve never worn them and always wore glasses.

i tried contacts for the first time about four years ago.
i wore them for about a month, and then got tired of them because they were a pain to put in and out every night.
i stopped wearing them for two years, and then came back to the optometrist and he prescribed me new contacts that you could sleep in for up to five days. now, i use those and it has really improved my ability to see in school and activities
i would just go down and give it a try, most insurance companies will cover the expense of a check up.
