Why does it hurt so bad ?!
Question: Why does it hurt so bad ?
Answers:
you must make sure your baby is latched on properly or it can hurt like hell. I know! I've been there.
it has to do with the way the baby latches, see if your baby's mouth covers your entire areola not just your nipple because that would indicate a latching problem. You can kind of try to help your baby to do that.

edit: you can put liquid vitamin E on it,so it can heal faster, and it will help with the pain
breast fed my baby for a year (had two baby's)
It's chafing from not breastfeeding previously. Completely normal. They do make creams to help with the dryness though. :)
GET NIPPLE CREAM. It will save your life. (:
