Does anyone else suffer from missed or extra heartbeats?!

Does anyone else suffer from missed or extra heartbeats?

I have had them for 17 years, seen a cardiologist today my heart is structually fine, and a good heart. I am 37 btw.
He offered anti arythmic drugs, which I declined for now I will try and chill out about them.
Anyone else going through this????

Yes I have had ECG and Echo cardiogram. He is 100% sure it is a normal heart except it has these atrial and ventricular "ectopics". Sounds scary though.

Yes am gonna knock the cigs out, even though I only smoke about 5 a day. I love a bottle of Pinot Grigio though what will I do??? Coffee, choc, no prob can easy stop that.

I think I will take up running, that would surely help????

I have had them for years - had all the ECG's etc and all fine. I have assumed that you are female - all my girlfriends get palpitations (missed or extra heartbeats).

I have managed to get rid of mine by not drinking coffee (switch to decaf) and giving up smoking - they disappeared immediately when I did this. I wouldn't take the drugs offered - try eating healthy, reducing cigs, alcohol and caffeine - your tests have confirmed that physically you are OK.
