my boyfriend has been to the hospital and had 2 plates inserted but we was looking for further advice as the hospital wasn't very helpful.

surly you have had information at the hospital re this?as its a long rest and very pain full all fracture clinics have leaflets on all fractures,and give them to patients and relatives.seek medical advice take care.
