Muscle ache?!

Muscle ache?
this morning, i woke up and my neck/shoulder muscle started to hurt. it still hurts right now. i doubt that i pulled it or anything.
what can i do to ease the pain?

and how long will this last?
because i have a gym final on tuesday. and i need to do PUSH UPS so if i can't do push ups/sit ups, i'm guessing i get a zero.
Answers:
Take an aspirin (an anti-inflammatory) and have someone massage it with cod-liver oil. Sounds corny--but it SOMETIMES works for me. Oh yeah, ice it for 20 minutes, nothing for an hour. Then re-ice for another 20 minutes.
