Strange pain in my left foot.?
Hi everyone, I have a concern that I haven't really worried about much until just recently. About a week ago, I started noticing this really horrible pain all over the top of my foot. I wasn't very concerned at the time because I just figured I pulled a muscle or something. Then as the days passed I noticed that the pain wouldn't go away. It became extremely painful to put my shoes on (only the left foot I mean) and just to walk or put weight on it in general. Also, whenever I press down on the top of my foot, there's alot of pain, almost like bruising. That's pretty much what it feels like - bruised. The thing that bothers me is that I can't remember doing anything that would have caused it to be bruised. I don't recall twisting it, or dropping anything on it, unless maybe I did it while I was sleeping *shrug*.
This brings me to the part I'm most concerned about. Just recently I've noticed the bruising going up my shins a bit, almost like it's spreading. Any idea what it might be?

it may be stress fractures. you may want to go have x-rays.
