Extra padding on crutches?!

Extra padding on crutches?
i just got knee surgery and i am using crutches and i see people who have extra padding on their crutches who need to use them for a long time, and i was wondering what people use for extra padding, like hand towels or something?

i kno how it feels....i also had knee surgery last april......i kno that some people use hand towels wrapped around and stuck on with tape......SOOOO i tried it and it worked......but i didnt think it was comfortable.......but i guess it depends on what type of towel u use......So i tried a softer thicker towell and was SO MUCH HAPPIER with it!!!!
