What can i do for sunburn?!
Question:
What can i do for sunburn?
hi, im 15 years old, on monday i went to the beach and i got a really bad burn on my back. today it hurt so bad that i could barely move. tomorrow i have to take my chemistry regents at 12. does anyone know any quick remedies(ive already been using aloe) so that i can concentrate on the test tomorrow instead of the pain?
Answers:
I am very prone to sunburns so I have experience with this - when I was 19, I got a terrible sunburn. My friend's mom, who was a nurse, suggested soaking in a lukewarm (or as cool as you can stand it) bath with white vinegar (don't overdo it - it stinks!). It takes the sting out and then use an oatmeal based lotion to heal the skin. I thought she was nuts but I swear by this remedy. Since you have a test, maybe you can take it early in the morning before you go to school. Also, when you finish, fill a spray mister bottle with 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts cold water and mist your skin with it. You might stink and smell like you're marinating but like I said, it really helps. Good luck on your chem regents and feel better!
