Glass in foot?!

Glass in foot?

ok well about 2 weeks ago i stepped on a peice of glass. I went to my bathroom put it over my bath tub and got all the blood away from the glass and pulled it out with eyebrow clipers and i washed it out and put a bandaid on it and now i look at it and theres this tiny hole in my foot and it sorta hurts but im pretty sure i got it out cuz it was just kinda a big peice but do you think i should see a doctor? i got my shots this year to go in middle school.

Believe it or not the bottom of the foot is one of the tenderest parts of the body. And a puncture wound like that will hurt like a son-of-a-gun. With out looking at it I can't be sure but, I would be willing to say that you got all the glass out. The hole you see is the punture wound healing itself from the inside out. You may want to try warm foot soaks with epsom salts or a little hydrogen peroxide to make sure it stays clean and infection free. If you notice any abnormal swelling and/or redness, get to a Dr. Hope all goes well for you.
